Feeding oil to horses-update

Hi

Just to say thanks to all those who replied to my post about feeding oil to horses a few weeks back. After your comments my friend decided to start her horse on Bailey's Outshine. Went to see her horse at the weekend after three weeks of being fed it and I must say the improvement is amazing.

It's definitely brillant.

I have fed it to 3 horses now with the same good results. Just cant get the same effect from feeding straight oils.

Just out of interest, what improvement in particular - condition in general or just coat shine?

Huge improvement in condition. Horse is a very fussy eater so it is difficult to keep weight on in the winter.

I feed linseed and Sunflower oil and people keep saying how shiny my boy is - even with minimal grooming!
The linseed is also making a difference to his skin I think as now any old scabs are coming off yuk! and he just feels better. A bit like a Vole!

He does!! Well the clipped bit does. It is most bizarre - like Fur rather than hair. Maybe more Mole like than Vole. But like velvety stuff really, if that makes sense!
