Do you think I will need to feed Outshine in the summer. I was always told not to feed oil in the summer because it comes back through the coat and makes the hair go lank and flatten down when you stoke them. My TB mare has done so well on it all through the winter and has come out a treat but I dont want her to get a greasy coat in the summer. Was planning on feeding Power and Performance alfa a pink powder and a handful of sugar beet for summer feed. She is 16.1 TB in regular competition work (dressgae mainly) all through the summer and autumn.

Haven't fed Outshine, but have fed oil in the summer with no adverse effect, in fact the opposite - gives a lovely glossy coat!

Ok fine will give it a try and keep her on it. It certainly keeps her weight on and gives her more energy without silliness.

Thank you very much for all your help on this forum it is much appreciated.
