We used to feed Racehorse mix to my cobby mare that I used to event. She worked through the summer quite hard and it just gave her extra sparkle. She wasnt fizzy in any way though and we took her off it once her work load decreased. We did this for several summers wth no adverse effects.

Blitz (dressage and a stallion) is on racehorse nuts - we were advised to feed them for energy.

He needs oomph without excitability and we are really pleased with the results, he gets a 1/4 scoop as well as oats, and a conditioning nut, with a handful of Alfa and chaff.

I give my laid back TB dressage horse Power & Performance cubes and 3/4 lb of No. 11 Race horse cubes in each of her 2 feeds. It works a treat, you just have to play aound with the balance until you get it right.
