I've just noticed on the bag it gives feeding guidelines to foals, yearlings and broodmares. Does this suggest 2-3 years old should progress to a different feed?

I would have thought my rising 2 year old would be good for another year on it.........

Well its quite high energy, so its a bit like feeding puppy food to a teenage dog. Yes you can do it, but you might end up with a stroppy brat on your hands

Personally I've never feed our youngsters anything, as we have very good quality fodder.

My 2yo (in my avatar) gets it - he looks and behaves wonderfully (most of the time) and like volatis, I feed it to my older horses too with excellent results.

Well with that info I shall keep him on it. Thanks everyone
