Well as we have more grass than either the horses or the cattle can cope with I'm not really feeding anything at the moment. Apart from a cup of balancer when he comes in.
Yeah, I'm just wondering as I seem to be one of only a few at my yard that feeds (only a small amout though) through the summer as they are on grass 24/7.
Henry gets a handful of hi-fi, garlic, cod liver oil, and carl hester airways stuff (as precaution...I dont want any more vet bills lol!) every other day. He gets carrots when I go up see him everyday though.
Rory- Just grass, scoop of blue chip when/if he is in.
Richard- Just grass.
Bobbie- Just Grass
Ajay-Just Grass
Teddy- Just grass
Brook- just grass
Freddie- just grass
Ginga - just grass
Pip- Was on just grass, but has now had to start being fed, as next week he will be travelling 20 hours each way to a 3 day event in 35 degrees heat. Now he is on a scoop of lo-cal, 2 scoops of working pony mix, and 3/4 tiny scoop of digest plus twice a day.
