Hi, I am trying to get a mare in foal, I have inseminated her twice 2nd time last Friday hopefully she goes in foal this time, I am feeding her hay ad-lib and 3 tubs of Baileys stud balancer, I cant let her out on grass as she is injured I have her in a real small paddock where she cant run am I feeding her enough mare is 700 kg

At this stage they just need to be getting enough fibre and, if she's on limited grazing, a good mineral supplement. The stud balancer is probably enough if feeding at recommended amounts

Why are you breeding from an injured mare in the first place? Her body needs to heal not be used as a baby making machine!

She is not badly injured she can still hack vet has said going in foal will help her heal
