Feedmark Extra Flex HA- any good?

I am using it on our young clydesdale as a preventative - big girl and being show bred, very close behind. It seems to have everything you need in it to support the joints and whilst she is sound, she looks (and it may be my imagination) to move a bit more free behind.

I used Cortaflex on our old clydesdale - good result, but then I changed to feeding instant linseed and their MSM 1000 which did the same thing. He had it for old age joints.

Sorry but I can't offer a direct comparision on the same horse just say what I found with both products.

i use iextra flex ha. i use another product for a few years but found my boy so getting stiff even while on it. my boy has worn cartlige in his hocks. after changing him to the extra flex i have a new horse and he is happy to swing his hocks freely so much so that i have had to change his bit as he had became very strong. i would therefore highly recommend it

I've used it for a while now, and know it works, as there have been a couple of times where I haven't got organised with getting a new tub, and have noticed a difference when he's been off it for a few days.

Like Demolition Derby, I don't think I've ever paid full price, and Feedmark are doing a 50% extra free offer at the moment.

thanks for that, will give it a try

Tikino (sorry to hijack thread) but have started feeding this to my boy also with worn cartilege in the hocks. do you feed recommended dose or the injury dose? the scoop there just seems to be sooo much and the bag is quite small, think it is only going to last about 2 weeks on the injury rate!

My horse has a spavin and I have tried lots of things including cortaflex powder, cortaflex powder with hyaluronic acid (HA), cortaflex liquid....
I have been using Extraflex for a long time now since it has given me the best results for my horse. They have good offers on too, 50% extra at the mo I think. I'd definitely give it a go if I were you.

i started with the injury dosage to get it into his system then gave him the recommended dosage to support joints and maintain mobility and it has done the job i couldn't have affoarded the injury dosage and didn't need it

This stuff is fantastic! Used it on a WB x ID with fractured hock- he was sound as a pound after a couple of years on this- passed a 5 stage vetting too when I sold him. I wholeheartedly recommend.
