Well spoke to Yo today who tells me he gets a FULL haynet every evening. The one I saw though was AT BEST a quarter full. She doesn't feed in the morning they go straight out which is fair enough but that isn't until about 8,30.So net has to last from 6p.m to 8,30 a.m Callum isn't a greed y pony (not just my observation) and I have stood in a stable with him and a pile of haylage which he wasn't eating because he wasn't hungry. He is also very sociable and enjoys human company in the stable and in the field. He will always come over to say hello to anyone. Now he only seems focused on food and not much else. The other thing is that he is a HEAVY weight cob and no amount of dieting is going to alter that. For perfection he is a bit overweight but I look at pics I have of him before I bought him and I can't honestly see a great deal of difference.I rode a Highland in Blair Athol who was fatter I would say (Huge Crest) but VERY fit. Maybe they are meant to be carrying a BIT of weight.YO says he can have more if I want so will monitor the situation.
