Feeling a tad bit low ...

Think I have clockschangebackblues. I did the first one in the night yesterday, searching for my horse and his fieldmate in the dark, que head torch and clipclopclipclop as two huge horses ran towards us. My boy and his field mate slid in front of us. Two problems:

1.) After xmas he's going back to his old field, where its only him, which is putting me down as I know how much having someone that he can play with him means. I am also hopefully moving down south, and have always planned to get another one and move them both together. But I've searched for a full month, and don't have a strict criteria, young (would happliy have unbroken), not looking for anything too flash, would be willing to have a LWWTB, but there is nothing out there! I think I am being picky as I got my boy for free and hes turned out to be one of the best horses I have rode! I'm beginning to lose faith. It would also be nice for me to have another as I can't jump with my boy, legs aren't too good and I won't push him into something he doesn't enjoy, but i miss jumping.

2.) I REALLY REALLY Don't like the dark!

Hot coffee and a cig (if your a smoker!) or a nice bit of cake for anyone who read that little ramble!

Its going to be a long cold winter. I always start off quite chirpy and then by January, I start to lose enthusiasum. I'm going to sew some reflective strips on the rugs this year so I can find them in the dark. Its a bit unsettling wandering round several acres in the dark searching for dark bays only to suddenly feel a warm nose breathing over your shoulder.
