feeling blue

the lovely summer weather is begining and i've suddenly started missing my girlie who's out on loan

It was exactly a month this weekend and i think the novelty of not having to muck out is wearing off!

just been feeling really blue, dont really want to ride other peoples (i have plenty of offers but no motivation), just miss her as a friend and person.

am i really odd?
has anyone else had this? the missing the horse but not wanting to ride other peoples etc?

i dont even want to go up to the yard as i think it will just make it worse!

I can understand how you feel. I am very focused on my own horse. I do think thow that if you want to carry on riding (and don't want to pull your own horse back off loan) you will have to throw yourself into riding something else/doing something else related to horses. Once you are into that you will feel better. But I think your current feelings are to be expected.
Go out there and try another horse. You may feel differently then......
