The horses that are working medium may not be as settled a level lower and will probably be anticipating moements that they don't need to do. You have probably go a better chance!
PG, all you've got to do it turn up to come 6th - that can't be bad
Suggest you go for the benefit of the test sheet & your own score from a decent judge, if you know what I mean - will also be a good opportunity to see how you currently compare to the top bods on horses of the same age, that's not an opportunity that comes up so often. Doesn't really matter how you do competitively - although my guess if you'll surprise yourself.
Carthorse, that wasnt me going on and on at the college was it???
I spoke to that chap and so did my hubby, he was a lovely guy and so was the lady with him! Unfortunately, (if it was the same chap!) he had to go straight into the Novice after he had just finished his other test .....I do hope not as I would hate to be classed as snobby!!!
now crawling away just in case I did blab too much.......
I like being ecentric and do not feel it is an insult at all!!! More a compliment!!!I did keep my feelings under control when I saw my score.......until I got to the horsebox..!!! I too find there are many "snobs" in dressage but there are also many "down to earth"..... these are the people I tend to look up to........ take Gary Williams and his girlfriend Verity...... doing VERY WELL..... but still take the time to say hello, how you doing etc........there are still some nice dressage riders out there who are not snobs!!!!! Although there are many "wantabees"!!!!!! Like every sport I suppose....... thank goodness we can choose who we speak to!!!!!!!
