Spit That Out

Sorry for the self indulgent post...
I went for a job interview today for a job i really wanted...It went well until the last 2 questions and i just went completely blank and couldn't answer them...couldn't even blag my way though them
Anyway feeling a bit low i really just wanted to go home have a glass of wine and a large chocolate bar but had to go and bring in my youngster (yes he comes in at night, even in the summer!!!)
I was mooching slowly to the field, when he spotted me and i got the loudest whinny from him and a full pelt gallop from the bottom of the field to the gate. That put a smile on my face
While putting his headcollar on he gave me a big lick up the face...honestly he's just like a big dog!!! The smile got bigger and even let out a chuckle
Didn't even know that he had been eating blackberries from the hedge and he had licked purple gunk all up my face
my friend back at the stables had thought i had cut my face open!!!
Anyway, I just love the way my horse makes me feel and even when I've had a bad day, he always manages to cheer me up...sounds soppy but...
