yesterday I led Izzy round the village in hand to get her used to the hussle and bussle! (It's been a few weeks) and today I rode her to the top of the village and back.
I felt a bit nervous at first because when I first got there she was galloping round the field racing Kenellen and just seemed full of it! but when I actually got on her and went out the gate to the road it was as if she knew to behave for both our sakes!
It was a nice 30 minute ride and she only spooked once at a small scary cardboard box!
She is still barefoot at the minute so when I got back I was expecting lots of sharp edges to rasp away but there wasn't! Good old Keratex!
So happy! Cant wait to go further! Having fronts put on on the 19th
