Feeling guilty :(

Today it was arranged I would do my friends Horse (shes studying for exams) they wern't going out today due to the fields being waterlogged. So asked friend if she wanted me to turn out in the menage instead just whilst I did hay and water. She said yes. Our menage runs along side a field, in which there were Horses in (that field wasn't water logged) friends Horse went over and squealed and stuck out with her front leg, she then reared up so I went to fetch her in. Before I could get too her she spun around and kicked the fence and it broke. Got Horse and she was squirting everywhere. Checked her and she was fine, put her back in stable and fixed fencing (although most of it was completly rotted anyways, I could have flicked it an it would have broke!) told friend who apologises for her Horse being a pain. But I feel so bad :( I hope the Horse hasn't injured herself. Although checked her before I left and she was fine. Also feel bad that she damadged property whilst in my care :(
 
Dont feel guilty. No harm done and horses will be horses :)

My friends mare put her bum though a fence panel and ended up in next doors garden! Ha ha, I offered to pay as it was me who was there but she insisted she would so we went 50/50. x
 
Thank you. I have only been at that yard for 5 months. So still getting to know everyone and don't want them to think I'm useless and they shouldn't ask me for favors! I'm gonna check her again when I go up. I just hope and pray theres no heat or swelling anywhere!
 
Ah you shouldnt feel guilty although I know exactly how you feel. My yo came knocking on my door the other night aft trying to phone me numerous times (i was in bed ill). Apparantly her dog had got into my tack box and into a little tuperware tube which contained zinc and caster oil and flowers of sulphur and he ate it all. He was really sick and I just felt so bad. I offered to pay for vet bills and stuff because I felt so guilty about it even though it was away in my tack box. Again just one of those things. I find as the days go on I feel a bit better about the whole thing but yeah I really feel for you.
