My mare is being picked up for her new owner tomorrow
Feeling quite down about it because I will miss her millions and I've come such a long way with her since I bought her.
She was only up for sale as I felt like she could achieve so much more, I don't have the facilities to take her out and about or compete her regular and I felt like she was being wasted. Plus I'm going back to College and can't ride as much so she will be going to waste really.
Plus as a mardy TB she required £60 worth of feed a month to keep the weight on her and shoes (£75 for a full set) and I just couldn't afford it anymore especially as I have another mardy TB to look after (who thankfully doesn't cost as much!) And a Welsh B and since losing my job I found it so hard to keep the upkeep for them.
Thankfully she is going to a lovely home where she will be pampered and shown regularly which I couldn't be happier about. And I can go and see her regularly.
I will miss her though, she's such a loveable bugger.
