My mare is being picked up for her new owner tomorrow :(

Feeling quite down about it because I will miss her millions and I've come such a long way with her since I bought her.
She was only up for sale as I felt like she could achieve so much more, I don't have the facilities to take her out and about or compete her regular and I felt like she was being wasted. Plus I'm going back to College and can't ride as much so she will be going to waste really.

Plus as a mardy TB she required £60 worth of feed a month to keep the weight on her and shoes (£75 for a full set) and I just couldn't afford it anymore especially as I have another mardy TB to look after (who thankfully doesn't cost as much!) And a Welsh B and since losing my job I found it so hard to keep the upkeep for them.

Thankfully she is going to a lovely home where she will be pampered and shown regularly which I couldn't be happier about. And I can go and see her regularly.

I will miss her though, she's such a loveable bugger.

Its a horrible feeling isn't it?
Hopefully you can go and see him though? :)

I'm just trying to focus on the positives, I feel myself welling up just thinking about her not being around :(

Yes, he's still local so I can see him. Don't think I will for a while though, I'll find it too upsetting. But it's nice to know that I could if I wanted to!

I know what you mean though, I'll be doing just fine then something random will remind me of him and it sets me off! :(
