Friend gave me a second hand foal rug yesterday. It is so cute and..... well, small. Never was able to have children but I can understand that urge to buy little clothes now, in readiness for THE ARRIVAL!!!

I'd rather have a foal than a child any day.

Sorry, QR.
Do you get colt/filly humans too, then? I've not had much to do with hatchlings...

I have always had the feeling it is going to be a colt, but Rose doesn't know, she just wants it to be "haaaaappppy and healllllthy". Actually she just wants reassurance it isn't going to want to eat any (and she means A N Y) of her grub!!!!

going to a stallion show the other weekend got me broody and has set me off wanting to breed from my mare again this year, think i would rather a foal then a child anyday, they are easier to deal with

sorry i have to disagree . I have 4 children and i'd never give them up for the world . Horses can be more demanding . U cant just stick the horse n the car n go away lol . They both as demanding and both can challenge u sometimes .

I think she'll have a colt too, don't know why. What colour will it be, do you know? I'm going to leave the topic of human 'thingums' (is that the correct term?) well alone as they scare me.
