fox is kept in a small block of 3 stables, it was only him and one other horse in there, but due to the other horse's stable flooding cos if wet weather, melting ice etc fox is now in there on his own :(

asked YO if i could move him into one of the outdoor stables so it would be a little less lonely for them but they are being reroofed soon as they are quite leaky so fox has to stick it out on his own..

he doesnt really bother with the feed balls, and lost interest in his salt lick after a week, so what can i do to keep him amused while im not up? he's like a wee lost soul in the corner :(

You could put the radio on for him to listen to.

Jay is on box rest due to a hoof abscess and he has three haynets hanging up so he has a different place to stand if he feels like it.

Hide carrots in the haynet.

Split his feeds into about four, one at breakfast, one mid morning, one mid afternoon and then evening feed - is there anyone about who can put the feeds in his stable if you are not there?

thanks for this :) will see if my dad will let me leave his battery radio up there, wary of using a plug in one incase of a fire! theres not many people about during the day im afraid so he'll just need to stick to a breakfast and dinner!
