Sorry for this self indulgent post but just had to share with everyone me little bit of news. I hacked my new four year old out today for the first time. I only got her last Saturday so was a little nervous but she was a little star. Didn't worry herself about anything. Went out with two sensible horses, just in case I needed to be boxed in on the road but they just baby sat in the end. Feeling quite smug!

You're not being smug at all, just being a very happy and proud new baby horse owner celebrating a great first hack out. Don't blame you, I'd be exactly the same!
 
Thanks everyone. I am feeling quite pleased with her at the moment. She is such a sweet little mare I'm hoping to have lots of fun on her.
