Dilemma of the weeks! Cracking feet!
Oscars feet always crack in the summer, he is 2 years old and is not shod! I don't know what to do, the farrier says they are superficial but I don't want them there as it must be a sign of weakness, bad for him?
Is there anything i can do or add to his diet to prevent the cracking or at least make it better.
He is foot sure on everything although has gone slightly footy on stones since the spring grass is through. He is turned out on a field with minimal growth and has hay at night (although still turned out)
They aren't deep but they still can be good for him surely?
What do you guys do? do yours crack? Is it just his feet or dietry? What can I try?
