Feet growing too fast, anyone else. Advice please

My farrier only came 2 weeks and 3 days ago and already Beacon's feet are borderline needing doing

He is normally an exceptional farrier (best in the area and a remedial farrier) So I am a little worried about upsetting him by suggesting he did not do them right?

So wondered if it was more likely that he has had a MASSIVE growth with all the grass that has come thro


Any advice please?

I would blame it on the grass - it does make their feet grow.

How about going barefoot, lol?
I know what you mean though my mare is the same her feet grow way too fast she needs doing every 4-5 weeks, my others go for 12 weeks! So annoying!
And yes it is the grass- my mare is fine in the winter when there isn't any grass!
