Feet trimmed

Anywhere between 6-9 weeks - especially in summer, they seem to grow faster. In winter, I have been known to leave for 10, but feel bad

the yard tried to book my mare in for 5 weeks! Wasnt having that so now she goes 7 which is the most the yard will allow!

Gertie is done every 4 weeks due to a nasty injury, previously was every 5 weeks. Monty will go months and months without needing them doing although they do get checked when the farrier comes to see my little mare, just incase.

My retired gelding has his done every other time the girls are shod, so roughly 12 weeks, he doesn't seem to get much growth and we have to bute him up the night before as he struggles to stand with 1 leg up, arthuritis (sp).

Cobbie and welshie...varies from 12 weeks to 6 months
Mini Shettie... every six months or so
Shettie(6) and Exmoor cross(4)... never been done..perfect lttle feet

Trimmed every 8 weeks or so, as my boy is out of work with no shoes on and he never has much growth.

When he came back off loan though he had shoes on, was in work and hadn't been done in 14 weeks and was hopping lame

Done every 5 - 6 weeks without fail.

Didn't think you could leave them longer as puts pressure on their feet as toes start to grow over shoes?
