Hi,
just about to apply for FEI passport but am a bit confused about which payment section is... he already has an existing passport so i assume its a cover passport i need but im confused about the extra section pages and special delivery extras? Also i havent yet sent his passport off to have the ownership changed so does this matter or do i need to get the ownership changed before i send it?

I did this back in Jan. You need to change his passport into your name first. Then you just need a cover passport and you shouldn't need the extra sections. I didn't pay extra for delivery but I did send it recorded, just in case.

They are very helpful at the office, if there's anything you don't understand then call them and ask them to go through it with you, there would be nothing worse than sending it all off and finding you've not done it right.

I asked this and they said to take a photocopy of the front page, the ID chart page and the vaccs page and that would be sufficient if you needed to produce it at BE events in the interim.
 
I was canny and sent mine off before the event season started! But I did scan all the pages in just in case the worst happened and I never saw it again (had to send it to Holland so wasn't sure what to expect!)

Which FEI event are you going to enter? I hope you won't have stress about whether your passport is back in time!
