Feildguard fencing tape..... good or bad ?

Following my other post on fencing,looking for experiences of using the thicker Fieldguard green or brown tape on wooden posts for secure fencing. good or bad...

I use the green 4cm tape with plastic posts and the horses see it very easily even against the green grass (which I was worried about). I know people who've used it with wooden posts as a more permanent field divider (ie didn't move it for years) and it worked very well. The only thing they mentioned was that it was worth getting good quality plastic clips to fix the tape to the posts as the cheap ones became brittle quickly.
