I am trying to get hold of the organisers but no-one is answering the phone. They are doing unaffiliated show jumping this Sunday, does anyone know if it is held on a surface or on grass????

based on this time of year i would presume it will be on a surface and think it may be in their outdoor arena but don't quote me on that

yup it will definitely be on a surface im sure

it will probably be in their outside sand school with the inside school for warm up.....................outside school quite pleasant but inside school quite small.................pleasant place to go most of the people are usually friendly and helpful..........

OK next question, are the courses well built or are they strided to cater for horses and ponies so end up being neither one nor t'other!

Might see you there Hammiehamlet!

May do...cant decided on that or royal leisure...think its more a case of deciding on 'R.Leisure = no lay in, up at silly morning hours' or 'Felbridge = not quite as nice but chance to catch up on some sleep!!'

I jumped there last summer at the RC area qualifier. Both courses were great with good striding and plenty of room although on each course there was a bogey fence designed to catch people out and it certainly did that.I have a couple of pics here from Felbridge although this was outdoors but it may give you an indication on what their courses are like. The first pic was the second round.the other from the first round.

It was our first time jumping there and there was a huge turnout for it but it was well organised and everyone was helpfull.
