Yes, I fell off the very safe and quiet Sherman yesterday evening. I dont know how it happened, we were nearly home and walking on a long rein to cool down and then - bang! I was flying through the air and took the full force of the fall on my left hip. I was with my friend but she was in front and didnt see it, just heard the crash as I hit the deck apparantly! Tried to get up, decided it wasn't a very good idea and ended up with paramedics and a trip in an ambulance to the local A & E.
Fortunately nothing was broken and I could have come home last night, but of course that was just too easy and I had to go and have a reaction to the morphine, fainted and my B.P.fell to 98 over 50, not sure what that means but its not good! And so they insisted on keeping me in. I am home now, on crutches, and I had so many plans for this week cos its half term and I work in a school so have the holidays. I only managed to start riding him this week as well after two weeks off because of the weather!!
Never mind, wont be long till i'm back in the saddle, just hope my fragile confidence isnt too badly bruised as well!!
Horses eh!!??
