Went for a xc rally today at coombelands with Tony Whipps, and managed to fall off on the easiest, smallest, least spooky fence
I got too ahead of my horse, he tried to jump but straddled it and got stuck on it
then I flew off.
We were both fine, the horse was more shaken than me though, I think he thought it might happen again but we jumped it second time perfectly.
The rest of the way around (I fell off very early on) he was perfect and gave the jumps a lot of clearance! We jumped some of the PN fences, and jumped a trakhener for the first time ever, I had visions of him refusing and me falling into the trakhener ditch but luckily this didn't happen, I just told myself to forget about the ditch and we jumped it fine.
It was quite long, a 2 hour rally and now I'm exhausted but it was great fun (apart from falling off!)
