Fence energiser recommendations

My energiser is only a couple of months old but its been pretty crap since I bought it. Any suggestions for good energisers (that give a decent zap-pony has been getting out)

I've always used Rutland energisers with a 12 v leisure battery.

Liveryman the best one have owned. They do different sizes and run off car battery.

Not sure about the UK but I have a solar powered unit was quite cheap and small and its brillant easy to move about 3kgs and gives a good belt. Used it the other day on a young bull that kept pushing water troughs round and it fixed him.
