Hi

Went down this morning and the big hairy has bust some of the post and rail fencing, made a temporary repair but am going to rope OH in to helping repair properly tonight.

Current fencing is posh 4 post and rail stuff but my question is - can we use whatever wood (not sharp) that is lying around to repair it (i.e have some decking boards lurking in garage) or does it need to be a certain kind of wood/treated??

Many thanks for any advice. :)

Well whilst I was working a temporary repair this morning the little sod moved along to the next bit of fence, grabbed it between his teeth and literally wrenched at it!! Think he is trying to bust into the grassy back field (maybe he is joining in the looting!), got very told off!!

If he has bust any more by tonight then will have to put electric fence in front of it. ;)
