Fenceman High Performance Electric Fence Tape

Hi, does anyone use the Fenceman High Performance Tape, 40mm, if yes what are your thoughts about it, is it any good? I need to electric fence a river bank and looking for a reasonably priced, good tape. Thanks.

I find the wind stretches the 40mm tape more. I use 20mm tape that has plastic carrier bags attached (great focal point) with our youngsters with loads of breaking points and with our more mature horses who really respect fencing, I use rope, with breakers. Most important thing with electric, is it gives a good zap, and has breaking points. (Sorry, dont mean to seem a know it all)

Thanks. This will be on wooden posts with insulators and tensioner. What fo you mean by breaking points, is this where you have joined the tape together? Thanks

Yes, that's correct. Rather than continuous reel, I cut and re join. I dont know if that's correct, you may want to check with someone, but works for me.

Having seen a horse almost remove its leg getting caught up in electric fencing I'd agree with BSL2 about the break points!
