Not really starvation, i know thats not the done thing any more but i need to fence off a small "less grass" area for a hugely overweight horse. Now i can do it in an easy to access place where she will have company and a tap very close so easy to water OR a fairly long downhill (when your in a rush for work anyway

) but at certain times of day there will be shade- will be a nightmare to carry buckets of water back and fore.
Which do i go for???

I think company is good. My horse has to go in a starvation paddock and I have a choice of 2, both luckily with water, and I put her in the one that the other horses are next to.

Ok will go company and easy option- she never stands under the tree's anyway i'd just feel better if she had shade! I guess also flies will be worse by the tree's so probably not the best place to leave her.
