I own a 4 acre field and my tenants are leaving taking all there fence and rail posts. I am replacing them myself but just wondered if people would actually put up there own fencing as I just don't have the time to do it, I am happy for them to put it up how they want to separate the fields or would people want a field already sectioned off? It is all enclosed the post and rail will be just to separate it into paddocks?

In your position I would secure the boundary, then I would expect the tenets to divide as they wish, I would hope they would protect your fencing with an electric fence.

Boundary is sorted its just a big field so would need to be divided up like I said I am happy to supply post and rail just did not want to come across being cheeky asking them to put on fencing!

I would love it if somewhere I rented supplied the fencing and just asked me to put it up!

I can't see why anyone should have a problem with that at all.

We have about 25 acres of land that we rent - the land opwners lets us do as we wish - I recently put up a 200m post/rail fencing field ... I certainly wouldnt expect the land owners to pay for it ... ;)
