Ferdinand de Fargo CB x TB

Silly post really - but our first horse was a lovely boy called Ferdinand de Fargo who was Cleveland Bay x TB. Sadly he died of cancer 10 years ago but is very fondly remembered. Has anyone got any thoughts on where his name might have come from? We'd love to find some relations of his!

This might be totally unrelated but if you go on bdwp.co.uk and search for Ferdinand a Ferdinand De Bargos comes up as competed in '05.. Possibly a relation? I only know because my horse is Ferdinand!
