Ferrets...

i was just wondering where locally (in gloucestershire) are there reliable people/shops that sell ferrets?

i was just curious, as i really want a ferret, and if i can buy one where the best etc etc places to buy one would be!

i am sorry this is in the dogs section, but i have seen other ferret posts here, so i thought i would post here.

all help would be appreciated!

also which would you have?

a male or female- because i heard females are less smelly?

Females are less smelly but you would need to get it speyed or they come into season and don't stop until they are mated - which can make them quite ill. Either that or you have a female and a vasectomised male together.
