Ok its coming together a little, had a lesson last night with the double bridle, went well, but lets just say I've arranged for 3 more before next sunday

. Mum is sorting the hotel, she doesn't do camping or horses in fact, worryingly she is to be my 'correctly dressed groom' this will be funny, I said she got to sprint around in linen trousers with a wicker bascket full of fly spray, but a serious question what would a correctly dressed groom wear?? (please consider my mum doesn't ride so no breeches etc)

I'll get some photos up soon of Ryu in his show hunter outfit, next sunday please everyone cross their fingers that he'll canter!

Your mum should wear something like smart trousers and a possibly a smart fitted top/shirt or smart jumper. Something like that would be fine

Just has to look respectable and smart

Thank you for the good wishes, I was thinking along similar lines for mums outfit, I guess they just want you looking reasonably smart. My poor Mum I don't think she knows what shes letting herself in for!!

Are you in the area of Aston le walls? I'm looking forward to watching some of the hunter trials in the afternoon, hopefully it'll be nice and sunny
