I have a 5 year old cob who was bought rather underweight and with a few other issues, one of which being a lump on his back leg.
The vet has no concerns over this, anti-inflammatories have helped a little in bringing it down but it's still very noticeable.
He happily gallops around his field with the other horses daily, in fact, he gives them a run for their money. Happy weight bearing, picking up his feet and is forward going.
I'm going to have x-rays just to put my mind at rest, he a sweet boy and I want his to have a good quality of life, especially after his rough start.
Has anyone experienced/seem something like this? We've ruled out the usual windpuffs/ lami etc
