Feud over horse ownership in the news, rather odd..?

Apparantly the horse was worth 50 THOUSAND POUNDS (over exagerated? :eek:) and is now lame and is now 'probably worth less than 2, 000 - or just butcher meat.'

How does a horse go from being worth 50k to butchers meat!?
Or is she saying that 2k IS the price of butchers meat? I can't decide :eek:

Very peculiar story. Both parties seem like liars :confused:
 
Very odd, couldn't be bothered to do more than skim read it, "bread" indeed... Just looked like an ordinary little horse, can't imagine why she was allegedly worth £50,000!

I had to comment on the "bread," I think my comment was something close to "Is a 'pure bread' a new warbutons loaf?"
 
£50'000, eh?! How?? What a very odd story, what very odd people.

On a side note, does anyone else think that really the daily fail is the newspaper version of Jeremy Kyle?

I think in addition to their entertaining loaf error they may have added a stray zero to the figures.

Completely weird story and they all sound...eccentric.

As to the horse I know nothing of the breed or how much they cost so I dont know how accurate that is, but I dont find it unusual that a horse could go from being worth many thousands of pounds to worth peanuts in no time at all.
 
The horse looks a lot like a normal horse.. I probably wouldn't give you 5k for it, nevermind 50k.

They didn't publish my hilarious and extremely witty (:p) comment about warbutons loafs however they have changed it now to 'pure bred':mad:
 
As a pure bred morgan mare, she would be reasonably valuable as there aren't that many in the country, though as already suggested, I suspect an extra zero has been added.

I suspect that Miss Beavis has simply misunderstood the meaning of 'loan'.

The article said the horse had been owned for 7 years and schooled for 5. It also mentions the 'thousands of hours' that had been put into schooling her.

I wonder if they reached a value of £50000 by totting up these thousands of hours and 'charging' themselves saya tenner for each hour! He he!

If this is the case there are some very valuable horses knocking around!!
