Few queries....Jack russel pup!

I've got an 8 week JR pup, she's pretty well behaved at the moment, can be bitey, and runs round like a loon, has loads of energy the conks out.... pretty similer to all the other dogs when they were pups. But when she's eating she looks really tucked up, and shakes a bit... shes got an appetite, and is eating all her food, am feeding the correct amount split into about 3 feeds aday. She was a bit wormy so did 3 day course of wormer, but she's still rubbing her bottom (course finished yesterday) Am taking her to vets tomorrow to have her first jab, so could ask him, but has anyone on here got any ideas, or is she just normal!??!?! All my other dogs have been shelties, so I'm not sure how a JR should be as a pup. Oh and she weighs 3.5 pounds...

HI, I have a year old JRT. When i got him last year as 9 week old pup (1st vacc and wormed already) so he pretty much came to me all ready... As for shakes, Boris used to do that when he first came home but had stopped since. As for chewing.... give lots of chews (raw hides, rubber toys but don't let the chew get too small as will choke) Boris was bitey when he was little and it hurts alot... just say firm no and put her down. Boris granually stopped after his teeth came through (5 months old) and thats when he started to "disbowel" soft toys!

Boris was a absolute loon as puppy and still is! He still goes swimming in the cold! But i enjoyed him alot.

And he's a stone now (7kilos)! but lean as whippet! If i remember correctly he was 3 kgs at 12 weeks.

my JRT still shakes to this day and she's 4! very much a terrier thing,she shivers when she's alseep too even if she's by my mum and dads Aga or Woodstove! My other terrier does too so don't worry too much,just let the vet know your worries/queries.
