Few things this week

So I’ve not really had time to do much with Faran due to working two jobs and Arions owner having broken her ankle in two places so I’ve had him to sort out as well.

I bought him some new rugs, 6ft3 now so none of Kia’s rugs fit him now and I only have two of eowyn left and he fits one but the other is too narrow at the chest for him. So the rest of Kia’s rugs are going to where I have my jump group on a Wed night for use on their horses which will be nice as I’ve had them advertised for over a year now and nobody is interested.

So he also needed a new bit, I got him a 5inch cyprium full cheek lozenge, he had a cyprium loose ring frenchlink for bitting and working with over the last couple of years. It’s too small now so onto a big boy bit ?.

So we had a play with some ground work and then I hopped on. He stands perfect at the mounting block I have a quick lean over and pat his side then swing my leg over and he gets a treat. He was sticky to go forwards as we didn’t have a human leading from the ground today. Took him a few tries to understand we were following uncle magic ? once we got that down we had a walk round the school on each rein then I got off. Probs only on him for 10mins as that’s all I feel he needs at the minute ?.

Thank you. He’s getting turned away again shortly. I usually don’t sit on until Dec so this is a bit out of my schedule so he will get longer to have a think about it all before I start the proper stuff next spring ? I have the feeling I’m going to be busy with my jobs this winter with the ongoing covid situation so not having to worry about his education is a load off my mind TBF
