Feww ! I exhausted !!!

Every morning - up at 5.30, down to the yard. Muck out two dirty ponio's. Fly masks and replant on and turn out. Bed down, throw the muck, water, hay, done the feeds. Swept up everywhere. Home for brekki, two toast and a large cup of tea. Quick wash over and change in to work clothes. Lots of perfume needed as smell of horse pee ! walk to work and here I am. Done a days work before I even get to work but love every minute of it. Ready for bed though by about 10.30 ish !! (must be getting old) Any body else do a days work before work !!! ????

Any body else take the slight smell of horses to work with them !!

That's why mine are at grass livery!!! I don't have any of that to worry about. I am very impressed by you lot though

Luckily mine are at home (I live at the yard!) and are out 24/7 for as much of the year as possible but the winter when they are in can feel a bit like that!! As for smelling or wearing bits of horsey stuff to work - I do try my hardest - I work in hospitals!! - but the occaisional bit get through!!

Getting up at 5.30 year round would probably finish me off - I take my hat off to those of you in or near cities that have no choice.

Yep - I do exactly that - and add riding in the morning into the equation too.

But only for 6 months of the year - it's summer & I need a break so they stop out 24/7

Welcome to my world! But luckily mine are out over the summer, so I just do all of that in the dark of winter mornings and evenings, can't wait! At the moment I go to work smelling of citronella!

Yep I am the same, only down to one week days at the moment. But I don't take the horse smell to work I have a shower first too then the marathon it is to dry all my hair!

I'm up at 5.30 all through the hunting season and then ease off to 6.30 in the summer.

I wouldn't have it any other way - I love it all and if I didn't have horses and dogs I'd be so bored!!
