Fhoenix saddles- getting the saddle flaps shortened?

I've had a Fhoenix saddle for a number of years now & although I like it (for the most part), my little short legs struggle with the saddle flaps, escpecially if we're jumping/ out for a fast hack. As a result it mostly stays in the shed.

Has anyone got experience of having the saddle flaps shortened?
