Field How Much??

Im waiting for a local farmer to ring me back regarding topping,clearing and rolling my fields. We have approx 4 and a half acres. Any idea how much it costs? Im new to this land ownership lark and hubby isn't here

I have two and a half acres and am charged £50 per service/per run. So £50 for harrowing, £50 for rolling etc.

We've run an agricultural contracting business for years, at normal ag. rates it would be about £12/acre for mowing, to clear it, round bales @ £1.80/bale, haulage £25/hr and rolling £6/acre. This is in cornwall so prices may be a bit less. obviously you will pay over these rates but it should give you a bit of guide. Jules
