Im thinking of buying a field lick. Maybe the respiratory one as she has slight problems. Are they any good ? and is it ok just to leave them out there all the time ? Do you cut down on food intake ?

If you mean the Horslyx ones - it's rather like allowing your child unimpeded access to the sweetie cupboard! They are basically great big molasses lollipops.
Google Brinincombe - they do a very good field block. my horses only use it when they feel the need, rather than guzzling it the way they do if they get the sugary ones.
