Does anybody know of any field licks that DO NOT have molasses in them. I am fed up with the mineral licks that you attach to the fence as when it rains they end up going on the floor. I want one that goes in the big round tubs you put in the field. All the ones i find in feed shops are packed with molasses and i don't want my horses having it as they will fight over it.

Ours have the himalyan salt licks. They seem to last a while and are hardy enough to not get washed away with the rain. Ours is still there even with all the rain over the last few weeks.

I tried to find one without molasses too, ours are such sugar addicts that its gone in a couple of days. Plus they all get covered in it when they groom each other - ugh!

Plus the himalyan salt licks are pinkish, so they look pretty

Thanks i will look at the dengie field lick.
I already have the salt licks which are fantastic but i feel like they should have more minerals as they are not being fed. But i recommend the himalyan licks thanksx

The Yellow Rockies are the best for all round vit and mins. Put them up and let the horse self admin what they want, when they want.
They are not the best weather proof thought but do not contain any mollasses, plus they are dirt cheap.

countrywide do there own brand of field licks, all different ones, £12 for 2 10kg blocks, just bought some for mine and they survived the downpours we've had over the weekend ok, not sure if the bloomin horses have touched them mind you lol.

I've just bought herbilix for the field, but i can't remember who makes them. (but google search herbilix)

They contain no molasses and are suitable for laminitics (i have two). They are weather proof and even if the container fills with water they don't disintagrate (sp?). They smell lovely and herbal and the horses love them.
