So, first of all I contacted the local farmer, who has loads of fields in the area. He said I was welcome to one, but it wouldn't be long term. I had to go to work, so wasn't able to get any more info at that time.
Anyway, I found a yard that was perfect, but 25miles away from my house...which would be a pain in the bum! Still, if Ned would be safe and happy, I was willing to do that!
In the mean time, I remembered a family who has horses not too far away, in a large field. I dug and dug and managed to find an email address. A few days past and I didn't hear anything and (me, being a bit down in the dumps) I didn't think they were ever going to reply.
Then I got a phone call! The woman on the phone said I was more than welcome to keep Ned with her horses! Woohoo!
I hung up, but she called a few moments later. She had called her husband had said they had a field in my village and I was more than welcome to the field, but I should just go and check it was all ok
Hoorah!! I wandered down and it's amazing!! Really big, nice high hedges! The only problem is the gate, which must be about 3ft tall....not Ned proof!!
So, when I find a friend for Ned, I should be able to move in!! Yaay!
