Newcomers to Hunting day
at Hilton Farm, Cupar.
Saturday 15h October at 10.00am

Come along and find out what happens on a hunting day.
Meet the hounds and huntsman, ride around
interesting countryside with opportunities to jump natural obstacles if wished but not compulsory and see what happens during a day's hunting. It’s not as difficult as you may think and above all it’s great fun.

If you don’t like jumping, don’t worry as there will be plenty of people on hand to show you the way around.

Refreshments

Cost £20 adults, children £10

I went to this last year - unfortunately my friends horse went down in the trailer and had to be rushed to the vets leaving me to go it alone (first time too ) but everyone was great. My horse was very excited and a little bouncy (brought traffic to a standstill moonwalking backwards in the middle of the road :D) but after a good gallop he settled nicely and we loved it. And the staff at the stables were amazing - they gave me a stable, bedding and hay for my boy while we waited for alternative transport home to come and collect us - we were so well taken care of.

Sadly I wont be attending this year as we are going Tank Driving in Dundee instead with my son :D

Well I may not walk for a week as I havent spent so long in the saddle but I had a truely wonderful time today. Everyone was really friendly even the we had a minor disaster before we even started and I'm so pleased with my horse as she was a wee superstar! I'm still cheesin!
