its bad news i'm afraid. vet came out monday and thinks both deep digital flexor tendons damaged. Coming back out tomorrow to scan. She wasn't very hopefull... Horse already has bone spavins both rears andhasn't really come sound on those for 18 months. will have to wait for scan before and decision can be made

We had a horse come in a few weeks ago with filled back legs. The vet said it was a virus, the follwing day another horse came in with the same - filled back legs. Not lame but stiff. A course of antibiotics and they were fine! Sure its not something similar! We also have a horse with no swelling or lameness just not jumping well and he has a suspensary injury and another who has been recoveing from a check ligament strain and because of our bloody next door neighbour has done it again but worse this time! They are just about to start having shock wave therapy - lets hope it works. The annoying thing is we are so careful with our horses and they haven't left the yard since august!

Well I hope it good news x
