My pony has massive filled legs for the past two mornings. This is completely out of character, he is a highland pony and really not the type!!!

Can't find any cuts/mud fever etc etc but he did have the physio out a few days ago and had quite a bit of muscle tension releasing done to his back and neck, wondered if this could be related as it all effects the lymphatic system.

He is having a few days off after physio but is going out and his legs are back to normal when he has moved around a bit

What do you think???

I would not worry too much - good idea to turn him out, let him walk around, might even sweet wrap them. Trying to figure out is like a treasure hunt - I just put these things down to horses - things happen!

Bandage his legs up at night to stop the filling if your that worried, but as he moves around the fluid willl get pumped back up the legs and he'll be fine. my horses both have filled legs occasionally. Nothing to worry about
