Had the beast (TB ex racer) for 3 years now - came to me as a non-jumper and we had to start from scratch. He is bold, fast and careful over XC but not a great SJ'er. He'll always jump but rounds are rarely pretty and we always have knock-downs as he is not careful at all. We are working hard at home but the excitment of the ring tends to bring back our bad habits and we never go clear....until yesterday

Managed to take 5th place at a ODE finishing on our dressage score for the first time ever. Am totally thrilled that our hard work is paying off and I remembered to ride as I do in my lessons. Here is hoping to more clears in the future
