So introducing TS a 16.1 TB x ID :) Yes he is huge for me and I had to work very very hard to get some work out of him, but once I got used to riding in the double bridle and the hugeness of the horse I think we actually did some nice work.

We did a nice rein back some really nice shoulder and quarter in some fantastic leg yielding and some good medium trot so I'm quite cheered up now and feeling a bit more positive.

I also rode the 11hh mare this mornign which was a blast especially when she thought it would be funny to try and buck me off (Trust me its very hard to sit to a buck on a pony with no shoulders)

Nicew horse, but would say your curb rein looks tighter than the bradoon rein, should be the other way round, he wont overbend quite as much then.:)

Thank you and I know unfortunatly the curb chain had rubber gripping and the bradoon didn't so the bradoon kept slipping and curb didn't if that makes sense :p
 
Oh yer get your drift, one has a plaited reins aswell. Yer defo easier with plain reins.:)
He looks good for you, and the experience of riding lots of different horses will do you good, it will help you get a feel of what you want when you do starting looking for one. :D
 
Glad you've found something to ride and you're keeping busy!!!! Bit extreme 11hh - 16.1hh! lol :D
I find it really good to ride other horses, most of them improve your riding in some way! Enjoy it!

I do especially like to see the manoeuver in pic 3 I have difficulty with, known as 'between K and X, medium trot hoiking bra strap up' :D

Lovely horse and glad your finding something to keep your mind busy :) You're definitely smiling in at least one of those piccies which must be a good thing

Unfortunatly the boys couldn't do the movement unless they decided to wear a bra :p

Thank you, he is lovely if he was smaller he would be just what I'm looking for :)

I think I will have some more fun days this week :) I got a couple of parties this week and on tuesday were going to the sales just for a day out not to buy :p
 
Sounds fab!!! :)

After my pony passing, my dad has decided to lets us get a dog! So I will be out next week looking round the rescue centres :D I am very excited! ha ha

Oh and you dont look that small on him in the pics!! :)
