Hi all,
I posted a while ago wanting advice of where to find my first horse. Well 6 weeks ago my first horse arrived at the yard, a 15.2hh, Irish sports cob, 8yr old Skewbald mare, renamed Whisky. She settled down well, and was calm and relaxed. I let her settle down for the first day and rode her the next, she was a true lady. Very calm, relaxed around my two not so calm kids. She has been ridden/lunged/free schooled pretty much everyday since and has improved her fitness (as well as mine) and is starting to become a new pony. A few hiccups along the way but I am really enjoying having her and may long it continue.
